Your Financial Information

We use this information to service your accounts, to qualify you for financial products or services and to package banking services that fit your individual needs.
We carefully limit who receives information and what type of information is shared. We share information only for legitimate business purposes and only as allowed by law.
In our choices of third party providers of services, we carefully review the company, their products and services and try to assure that they provide wider choices and value for our customers. Information may also be exchanged with credit reporting agencies and similar organizations or provided when legally required or permitted in connection with fraud investigation or in connection with an acquisition or sale. How we handle e-mail
We preserve the content of your e-mail, your e-mail address and our response so that we can more efficiently handle any follow-up questions you may have. This allows us to maintain an audit trail of our contact and provide you with the product, service or information you may have requested.. If we think that a particular Citizens Bank account or service might apply to your situation, we may occasionally contact you at your e-mail address to inform you of potential benefits and availability.
Regular Internet e-mail (non-encrypted ) is not secure. In the instances where Citizens Bank Internet e-mail addresses are provided, these are provided for information inquiries of a non-sensitive and non-confidential nature. What we do with online surveys
The information you provide on surveys and promotions on our web site will be used for internal marketing purposes, including developing web site information and services that you may find helpful.
Financial Tools and Calculators “no data capture”
There are many planning tools throughout the site to help you make the financial decisions that are right for you in the privacy of your home. We encourage you to try all of your "what-if" scenarios as often as you like. Examples include the mortgage principal and interest calculator.
When you use various planning tools on our Web site, the calculations run on your PC or our server. We do not capture the personal information you provide on these planning tools.
Protecting your privacy online
Citizens Bank holds online customer information to the same standard of confidentiality as other financial records. Therefore, we keep confidential any information our customers may provide us online, no matter what the source of that information except as otherwise stated in this statement and/or as governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma. Currently, the only information you can submit through our web site is via e-mail. Please see our e-mail procedures for tips on proper e-mail content and submission.
When information is collected and not collected
Some areas of our web site require information, such as your e-mail address, to enable you to perform certain tasks (for example, correspond with us). In these cases, we collect your information if necessary to interact with you. If you do not interact with us, you browse our web site anonymously, and personal information, such as your e-mail address, is not collected.
In order to improve the usefulness of our web site for our visitors, we automatically collect and maintain statistical information. Citizens Bank uses bcInternet Designs, LLC as a host provider to analyze web traffic and data regarding usage of our web site, number of hits, pages visited, length of user session, etc. This information is collected for internal marketing and site management only. Unlike some tracking services bcInternet Designs, LLC host provider only collects aggregate data and does not have a database of individual profiles for each visitor.
What You Can Do to Safeguard Your Financial Privacy
You have an important role in preventing misuse of your confidential financial information and bank accounts. You should monitor your banking statement(s), notices and other correspondence immediately upon receiving it from the Bank. You should protect the confidentiality of your account(s), account number(s), personal identification numbers (PINs), passwords, login IDs or other identifying numbers including driver’s license number and social security number. Personal identification information by itself, or together with information related to your account, may allow unauthorized access to your information or account(s). CONTACT US AT ONCE if you believe your private financial information has been secured by an unauthorized party or has been compromised in any way. This would include loss, theft or other means by unauthorized parties of gaining access to your information.
We do not knowingly solicit data from children nor do not knowingly market to children. We recognize that protecting children’s identities and privacy online is important and that the responsibility to do so rests with both the online industry and with parents.
Keeping your account information accurate and up to date is very important. If you ever find that our records are incomplete, inaccurate or outdated, please call 580-332-6100. We will correct the information as quickly as possible.
Sales Solicitations -We offer you the ability to limit the use of third party information to the extent required by the Fair Credit Reporting Act. By restricting the use of information, you may have to re-submit or repeat information when purchasing products and services and Citizens Bank will be less effective in providing you information about new offerings. Upon your request, Citizens Bank will immediately remove your name from our internal solicitation calling/mailing list(s). In most cases, we are able to update all calling / mail promotions within 30 days but it may take up to 90 days to fully remove your name from all contact listings. You may revoke your request at any time.
We will still maintain telephone and mail contact in order to provide customer service, notifications and maintenance to your accounts. We will continue to send marketing materials through regular notifications and mailings.
